Hello guys!
We wanted to share Raspberry PI OS (previously called Raspbian) Buster with updated ArduPilot, fixed DroneKit, new ROS Noetic and RPi4 8GB support!
Here’s the list of new features and improvements.
Fixed Navio model selection behaviour after running systemctl start ardu<vehicle>
You can update your image with sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade.
For getting new precompiled ROS you’ll need to flash the new image to SD card . Here’s the changelog.
RPi 4 has USB 3.0 and it opens a lot of new possibilities which are not available on previous hw versions. There are a few net & usb kernel drivers added/updated which not available in kernel 4.x.
Are there any plans to update Navio2 image for RPi4B to the latest (based on) Raspbian with kernel 5.4?
Emlid, can we please request that you continue updating the kernel version on your image - there are benefits to your Navio2 customer base for Emlid to continue supporting this.

Well, I’ll just use Pixhawk then.
It’s unfortunate to learn that Navio2 will fade into history with no continued support for Linux Kernel updates. It is/was a good product.
