This is all pretty exciting, especially given the costs of land survey-grade gps equipment, which can sometimes be useless in rugged, mountainous topography. Does the dual or even multi-unit system really give one cm accuracy, and can it be used in conjunction with local WAAS? This would be too cool, and allow us to expand our services immensely.
Yes, it does allow for cm accuracy. You can check the comparison with Leica receiver in this thread:
Usually there’s no need to use WAAS data since RTK method gives higher accuracy than DGPS.
