Hi Regan,
Welcome to the forum!
To get your Reach unit computing solutions properly, you usually just need to input messages with the Antenna Reference Point (ARP) and Multiple Signal Messages (MSM). Typically, these include messages like 1006, 1074, or 1077. I remember seeing a list of supported RTCM3 messages in this thread.
So, why did adding messages 1005 and 1008 make a difference for you? Here’s the scoop:
- 1005 gives you the coordinates of the Antenna Reference Point (ARP).
- 1006 includes everything 1005 does but with the antenna height added.
- 1007 provides details about the base station antenna type.
- 1008 is like 1007 but also includes the antenna’s serial number.
The Reach units also support MSM4. Generally, the higher the MSM number, the more info you get. For example, MSM1 covers code measurements, while MSM3 includes both code and phase measurements.
Hope this clears things up!
