I plug RasPI4 ModelB 8GB to navio board. It can not boot.I use raspbian image from this site. (https://docs.emlid.com/navio2/common/ardupilot/configuring-raspberry-pi/ ) How to solve this problem? Thank you.
Hi Jirat,
We’ve already discussed a bit this subject here:
Hello,
I just received my Navio 2 today and am planning on getting a new RPi4. Will the 8gb version work with the navio and emlid version of Raspbian? Thanks in advance,
The thing is that this RPi was launched a bit later and we couldn’t check how our image works with it. The good news is that we received it recently and are in process of updating our firmware so it works with this RPi model.
Hi Jirat,
We’re still in work on a new image. However, if you have another RPi board at your disposal, you can now follow the workaround I proposed in this thread to make Navio2 work with RPi 4 8GB:
Hi Sairam,
We’re working on a new image with RPi 4 8Gb support.
At the moment, I can provide you with a workaround on how to make them work together:
Insert the SD card with our latest image into your RPi 3A+
Run the following commands:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
Once the update is completed, you can use this SD card and Navio2 with RPi 4 8Gb
Please let me know if it works for you.
