Question about accuracy Reach RS2

but I don’t have a base, I’m using a network of bases.

I think you gave me the solution to the problem …
were deactivated in the “base” tab…
:sweat_smile::sweat_smile:
thank you.

I have to go and try it right away, even if it’s night here

I am afraid that the selection of sat on the “basic” page is effective only if two RS2 units are used, a base and a rover.
I tried to activate all the sat and turn them off but only GPS and GLONASS correction remains.
The rover sees 34 sat; the base only 16 (GPS and GLO)

Yes, when you have another RS2 as a BASE, you have that extra control.

When using NTRIP CORS etc, I think your at the mercy of what they provide which is usually just GPS and GLONASS. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. There are tradeoffs of the 2.

Personally if your in business making $$$, best to have that extra RS2.

Yes that only applies if that unit were a base

Thank you Tim and David for your help.
I will try to contact the CORS provider for an official response.

I had also thought of a second RS2 unit as a base, but I will fight to have CORS also on the net.
:sorriso:

Here where I am in Italy, my region provides free NTRIP CORS.
They installed a new network of 13 multi-constellation base stations.
In the advertisement they state that they provide NTRIP CORS for all the constellations.
We’ll see if it’s true.

It indeed looks like the mount point you use only provides GPS+GLONASS

Hi Dmitriy,
these are screenshots of the mount point provider … in real time.!

It appears that their TOPCON CR-G5 receivers see 4 constellations.

Perhaps the receivers see 4 constellations, but does their server process only 2 constellations?
I asked them for explanations this morning.
They answered that they try to do a check;
they say that I am the first to raise this question.

Perhaps GALILEO and BEIDOU in Topcon and in Emlid have different frequencies?

Can you log a few minutes of correction on the stream to a file, and upload it here ?

From your latest screenshot it now seems to be working, or am I mistaken?

Hi wizprod,

the SNR screenshot is not of my Reachview.
I took SNR from the EMLID RS2 documents and put it next to the screenshot of the mount point provider in my region.
This is to compare the satellite signal names.

My SNR is always only GPS + GLONASS.
This below is mine.

There is part of the constellation Galileo that is not working, so you do not see the gray bars

FWIW @vin_bro , I’ve noticed here in Australia many CORS network stations still only offer GPS & GLONASS corrections…

Hi @vin_bro,

Could you please send us a screenshot of the “Correction input”, where the RTCM messages are displayed? (Tap to the “Connected to localhost” tab)

If your provider offers BEIDOU and GALILEO corrections, there should be 1094 and 1124 messages.

Hi gleb,
It seen the are not present…

It’s correct?

Aren’t you using NTRIP and not LoRa?
Your top menu says Lora but the connection clearly states otherwise indeed.

Yes, says connected to 80.17.45.14/VRS30

Hi Christian,
Hi Zinedine,
Hi Tim,
yes, I’m using NTRIP, not LORA.
I followed gleb’s indication.
He asked me to attach a screenshot of that page.
Even if I am not connected to LORA, it appears that the page still shows reception “codes”, even if these come from CORS NTRIP…
