Helical antenna problem?

Hi, my M2 doesn’t “see” any satellites as of 24/12. I use the Helical antenna. Tried 3 different cables with the same result. I was using firmware v27.0 and updated to 28.1 but nothing changed. The M2 boots normally. Nothing notable happened from the last time I used the M2. Is there a way to check if the Helical Antenna works properly?

What did that link wire bridge?
How were you able to identify the problem?
What was the defective part?

my guess is i used a defective/loose antenna cable after that my m2 receivers do no show satellite bars and i read this trend above similar to my problem.
from that post you have to use 18ohms resistor and a diode
just be careful in soldering I’ve burn this terminal so i jumper two wires

Congratulation for your repair.

I had contributed to design the solution in the previous post. Sadly we never knew if the issue is software (short circuit protection) or hardware related.

M2 repaired like this work well. The only drawback I noted is a slight increase in consumption at start up so with weak batteries the M2 doesn’t power up.

Since I tried a new design which seems to fix this issue :
