Navio + on the RFD900 is connected UART with separate 5V supply
with excellent regulator

on my PC are connected in the RFD900 USB to COM port in FTDI

You also should power the rfd900 through the PWM connectors and a BEC added there instead so they all share the same GND.

RFD900 requires a separate power supply because it takes up to 3 amps.

Is Ethernet setup of proper IP address or you might use DHCP to get up IP address.
Can you ping your PC (192.168.1.2)?
