Dirt bike mount for RS2 rover?

I need a creative, durable, hands-free method to mount my RS2 rover to a 2m pole for use on a 125cc dirt bike for cross-terrain off-road mapping work.

I do NOT need extreme accuracy, so it’s fine if the rover bounces around a lot (3D errors of up to 0.5 meter are acceptable), but I do need it to be relatively safe (for the dirt bike rider,) completely hands free, and pretty secure so that the pole doesn’t slip off & get caught up in the gears or wheels, or fall over & bang the RS2 on the ground.

Any ideas, photos, web links?

Thanks

I took a mount designed for an ATV and modified it. Small post mounted to the frame underneath and another vertically into the board hole. Secured with clipped pins.
