Auto-numbering for the custom point names

Hello,

Is there a way to make the auto-numbering work with custom point names. For instance in the Survey mode whenever new point is added it defaults to Point 1, Point 2, Point 3, etc. Instead it would be way better to type in a fixed part of the name, like GCP, BM, CP with the last symbol being an integer. So typing GCP1 as a point name only once would result for the next point name to automatically suggest GCP2, GCP3, etc…

I’m afraid in ReachView 2 there’s no automatic increase for the custom name of the point.

However, the automatic incrementation of the point name is implemented in the beta version of the ReachView 3 app. You can read more about working with ReachView 3 in this community forum thread.
