4 questions about the Reach M2

Hello everyone…

1- What are the main differences that give greater value to the RM2 between Reach M+ and Reach M2?
2- What type of GPS antenna does the Reach M2 use; Passive or Active?
3- What GPS antenna do you recommend for the Reach M2 with higher gain, it does not matter if it is not so small, it is to be used as a walking rover.
4- Do you know any STL file to print a case and integrate everything and put it in a survey pole or any other case ready to use?

Thank you very much!

The RS2 is a complete package solution, with battery, weatherproof case, integrated antenna, cell modem, integrated lora radio. You push the power button and your ready to go, purpose built for surveying. Also already set up to go on top of a survey pole.

2- What type of GPS antenna does the Reach M2 use; Passive or Active? Either but recommend active

If you are a surveyor get the RS2.

This question depends on what you are doing with the m2, If you want reliable survey results find at least an antenna that has some approval documentation with it to fill out rinex headers.

Someone on here made one. A few are using them on a pole.

M2 makes a great permanent base too, and its small size suits drone use.
