Just spotted this on firmware.ardupilot.org. Does any body know if/when this will become the general release? Can I just run a “sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade”, or will I have to download the ArduCopter.elf file?
We will update the arducopter in our package shortly and you will be able to update & upgrade to get rc2.
Right on!!! Hella good news, can’t hardly wait
Hi @igor.vereninov,
Do you know when the update & upgrade will be set to give us the 3.4-rc2? Is there a beta version available for the NAVIO that we could test?
3.4 is already released and available on Navio through standard upgrade process.
Is that 3.4-rc1 or rc2?
It’s 3.4.0 stable.
@george.staroselskiy and @igor.vereninov thank you for your quick responses.
I am asking because I have read here that the flight mode “GUIDED_NOGPS” will be available in 3.4, however, when I try to activate it with vehicle.mode = VehicleMode("GUIDED_NOGPS")
then I get a key error. So I assumed that we didn’t have the right version.
Since the answer to that question would not belong in this thread, we have created one addressing the issue here
