Why doesn't the Reach kit use a helix antenna like e.g. eBee

I’m very much interested why the Reach modules (M1/M/M+) do use a patch antenna and not a lighter helix style antenna like e.g. eBee or as it was shown in some Emlid videos?

Expensive I guess, more than tw4421/tw4422.
