You take the pole height, say 2.0 meters and add
0.022 for the 1/4" to 5/8" mount thread adapter. PLUS
0.065 for the distance between the bottom of the Reach RS unit and the center mark.
Thus we should add 0.087 m to the pole height or 2.087 m
TRUE?
The software asks for Antenna Height in the Survey menu, second step.
See Picture. I am adding 0.087 but no clear documentations as to what to add above the rover pole?
You should add 0.0215 for the thread adapter and 0.065 for the distance between the bottom of the Reach RS unit and the center mark.
As a result, you’ll have 2.0865m.
Just measure from the point on the ground (bottom of your rover pole) up to the BOTTOM of the Reach RS unit (with adapter on obviously if it’s needed depending on your rover pole) and JUST ADD 65mm to get to the antenna reference point (ARP). That’s it.
You’ve quite an old ReachView firmware version.
Please, update on the last 2.16.0 stable one.
It has Smart antenna/pole height function. With it, you don’t need to think about the actual antenna height anymore.
