Using two IMU with EKF3 lanes on Ardupilot

Using Ardupilot 4.3.7 from ArduPilot firmware : /Copter/stable/navio2

Since there are two IMU on Navio2, I assumed that it would be possible to use two EKF3 lanes with both IMU.
I’ve set the EK3_IMU_MASK to “3” instead of “1”.
However, when I restart Ardupilot, it turns back to “1”.
I found this old thread about the second IMU not being supported back in 2016, stating that support for the second IMU was planned.

I’m wondering if it has been implemented since then, and if so, what I am doing wrong to use both IMU in EKF3.

At the moment, it’s not possible to use the second IMU fully for such a task.
