Using the Edge's USB Port for a Dronekit Serial Connection

Is it possible to use the Edge’s USB port as a serial connection to an onboard companion computer?

I have a Nvidia Jetson TX2 onboard (as a companion computer) running image processing code and dronekit, and I’m trying to send the dronekit/mavlink commands from the Jetson to the Edge over the USB port. I see that USB radios are supported on that port, how would I go about just opening a USB serial port?

Hi @cmelnyk,

It seems not possible scheme as you can’t connect a second host device to this port. The first one is the EDGE itself. However, radio is supported cause it’s a client.
