USB to ethernet driver

Hi,

I’m using an usb to ethernet adaptor to connect the Reach to other device. the adaptor is recognized, the result of lsusb is:
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0fe6:9700 Kontron (Industrial Computer Source / ICS Advent) DM9601 Fast Ethernet Adapter
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

My problem is that the kernel of the reach does not have the necessary driver, this driver is named dm9601. Can you provide the module dm9601.ko for 3.10.98-poky-edison+ (the result of uname -r)? In case you can’t, can you tell me how to build my own kernel that works with Reach?

If you have any other solution to this problem it will also be welcome.

Best regards,
Santiago

Hey! Since there are too many adapters we simply cannot test and provide support for all of them.
I’d suggest to obtain one of the models that we already tested:

  • D-Link DUB-E100
  • ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter
