To better understand, can you tell me what operating system your device is running on (Windows or macOS)? Also, do you see any pop-up window prompting you to update when you open the Emlid Studio?

The only one i find is always combined with the registration for the newsletter - which nobody needs more than one time.
We have tried to reproduce the issue with our Windows laptop and couldn’t reproduce the issue; the update windows popped up. It looks like it might be related to the computer’s settings or restrictions as you and Zaz mentioned. I’ve reached out to you via DM to share some workaround.

thanks a lot. I will frequently check for updates manually. It really might be a restriction for pop-up-windows in correlation with the dev-environment you’re using.
