Before the update I had no problem in starting the ardupilot software. Now for some reason when using the emlidtool to start arduplane it won’t start.
when trying to start it by:
sudo systemctl start arduplane
there is also no responce
here is a screenshot of the error given on the emlidtool.

Could you please update with sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade and try to configure again?

just did the update, upgrade and a reboot but still the same issue still occurs
After upgrade you should have emlidtool v1.0.7, which will propose to update RCIO firmware.
You can update it with:
sudo emlidtool rcio update
