Uav & ntrip

Sorry if this has been asked before. I just want to make sure I get this process correct. When flying a UAV job with Reach RS+ & Reach M+ as the base/rover you want to have a local base setup and not be connected to NTRIP while flying. The only time NTRIP would be used is when capturing the GCPs for the project & not when flying the UAV mission, is this correct? thanks for the info everyone.

Yes, that would be one way of doing it.

Hi Garrett,

You are right, for PPK mapping you don’t need real time connection with the reference station.

For placing GCPs, you can use NTRIP service in case you need to place local base station accurately or when you want to use rover only.
