Is it possible to trim a *.0xx file for a specific time period? I somehow managed to use the same file after I physically moved my base station. I need to create a new *.0xx file for position 1 and then a second *.Oxx file for position 2.
Hi Mark,
Welcome to the community!
Yes, it’s possible to do so in Emlid Studio with the option of converting to RINEX. Let’s load the desired .24O file and open the settings by clicking on the gear.
There’s an option called Logs duration that allows you to set the time interval of the result file. You can convert your original file twice, applying the two different time intervals.
I guess a better question is - can I identify where I moved the based to the new location and trim to there. I properly stopped the log when ending the first session.
If your base recorded the position file (different than the rinex), either in ENU, LLH or XYZ, you can identify when it moved by checking one of these files in EmlidStudio or RTKlib.
You will see a trajectory
Hi Mark,
I agree with Bernard. If you have a position log from the base, you can use it to check when the coordinates change. But other than that, there are hardly other options to look for it in the files.
