Tablet with 4G

Hi,

Am in the process of specifying a Tablet for use with 2x Reach RS+.

Is there a role for 4G on the tablet, given the fact that NTRIP services are not really accesible here in the SW of the UK?

Hi @NseeUK ,

The Internet connection is needed in the following cases:

  • To connect to an NTRIP service

  • To update the firmware of your device

So, you can choose a tablet without 4G if you’re not going to use NTRIP and can update the firmware via Wi-Fi, for instance.
