Supported USB to Ethernet Adapters for M2 and RS2

Hi Vincent,

Thanks for this great post. I to want to connect the M2 to a lan via cable. I was able to do this with a previous M+ but want to replace with duel frequency M2. I have tried a TP UE200 and DUB E 100 with no success. Shame this has been dropped as I wanted to update our ‘OPENRTK’ feed with duel frequency base station and connecting to a more stable cabled lan is the way to go!

Hi Con,

If I recall correctly, we’ve communicated with you a while ago regarding this issue. We never supported any Ethernet adapters on purpose, but we also didn’t change anything in our firmware since our users reported TP-Link UE200 works.

So, the task is quite challenging, but we’re ready for investigation! Please email us at support@emlid.com to discuss further steps.

Hi guys,

I have some fresh news for you!

We’ve recently run some tests with the TP-Link UE200 adapter and Reach M2, and it worked just fine. So feel free to update your Reach M2 to the latest firmware version and try it out with the adapter.
