Stop & Go Only With Rover and Permanent Base

Hi All, i’m a young surveyor, and for the first time i need to plan a survey with the possibile absence of the Ntrip coorection. I need to survey a mountain area far from any network, so i’m trying to learn ho to do PPK. First of all i ask if i can make it with the stop & go only with the rover RS2 and the base observation and navigation file from the nearest permanent station that is also the same that provides the ntrip services.

Preparing to the mission i want to fine tune the workflow, and i’m trying to collect some points in my area deactivating the ntrip corrections. I set up the logging of the rinex file leave the height of the rover at 0 ( because later will be read from the csv) and then begin to collect points with an averaging of 30 seconds.

Now comes the difficulties, i download the rinex and csv from the rover, and generate the oservation file and navigation file from the permanent base. Now in the base is correct to leave the rinex header or i must set the station coordinates?

As i learned the workflow must be this:
-Collect points
-load rinex (OBV+NAV) from base paying attention to the time (utc+2 for me)
-load rinex from the rover
-generate post processed file and then load the csv to correct the averaged points.

Thanks to anyone would help me!!

As long as offer the ability to download the logs and the CORS is within about 50km you should get pretty good results. I have a base station most of the time, but have done this on a few occasions where I hadn’t brought it with me or was too far from a CORS to get consistent accuracy with RTK via NTRIP.
