Stake out heights of an area

Hello,

I would like to stake out the elevations in an area. or check the height of built-in material in an area.
Can you develop a module that makes it possible to read in triangulations of (digital terrain models) and then to stake them out?
With points and lines, setting out the heights already works.
unfortunately not in the area.
