SSH RS2 over 3g

Hi,

I have installed the reach RS2 with 3g sim and am wanting to ssh into the device. Is it possible? What are the capabilities of the device with sim installed other than receiving NTRIP corrections?

Welcome to our community!

The connection requires additional firewall configurations that Reach doesn’t have. So, you can’t SSH to the unit using the public IP.

Installing a SIM card allows Reach to connect to the Internet to:

  • Get and send corrections via NTRIP

  • Share the Internet connection with other devices
