I change the elevation mask to a larger value. Does that make any sense? Up 'til now, I’ve always got a fix solution. But three of seven flights were solid float. Changed the elevation mask from 15 to 20 and everything is solid fix. Isn’t that counter intuitive? I’m not excluding 5 degrees of available horizon. Or is this a bug?
Hi Shaun,
This is what I call “playing with the setting”
Elevation mask increasing could help you if signals low above the horizon are highly disturbed, for example, because of obstacles. For calculation, it’s better not to have the signal at all than have it unstable.
