So USA 🇺🇸 banned DJI drones?

Should any device connected to the internet also be BANNED then? i.e. Smartphones

No they are not banned yet. Why is everyone so antsy to be the first to report the final verdict? The Countering CCP Drones Act passed the House of Representatives vote, and has been officially handed off to the Senate for additional debate, potential amendments, and AN EVENTUAL FINAL VOTE. If the bill passes the Senate and is signed into law by the President without significant revisions, it will add DJI drones to the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Covered List of drones banned from operating on the U.S. communications infrastructure, which would essentially make NEW DJI drones illegal in the United States.

Thanks. There is still hope.

Remember how long it took from the inception of RiD to actual implementation was 5 years, including 3 years after it was signed. Even if it does pass the Senate it could take years for it to actually be upheld and they won’t be able to stop the drones that are already here and unless you are working for an entity that bans use then guess what… the drones that are here become a hot commodity as do the Pilots that still have them until something else that even comes close is made available. I may bump up our next purchase of the M3T…
