Shielding Cables Professionally

Hey all,

I have recently bought and have been experimenting with the Navio 2 autopilot. Now with a few successful flights, I have noted that electrical interference can be an issue for certain elements of the autopilot - most notably the electronic compass. I am using an external compass btw!

Now in the past on other projects, I have been able to get around this with some copper/aluminium tape but this is not a very professional looking solution and I would question it reliability over time.

I think the best solution is to shield your wires coming using some form of EMC/EMI braid. However, I have never done this before and was wondering if anyone has and could share their knowledge?

Ideally, I would like to be in a position where all my wires are shielded (servo wires, i2c wires and UART wires) as it would build a good amount of redundancy into my system and give me more confidence when attempting long range FPV missions.

Keen to hear from all the experts out there.
