For the single-band receivers like Reach RS+ and Reach M+, the clear sky view is necessary for obtaining the Fix solution. To obtain a fix solution, you need to follow the requirements for the receivers’ placement. For Reach RS+, you can check them in this Placement guide.
The time of achieving a Fix solution would depend on the receiver you’re using (whether it’s multi-band or single-band) and the environmental conditions. In somewhat difficult environmental conditions with the sky view partially blocked, this fix acquirement time might be increased.
