Hello
I’m trying to use RS3 with Land Star 8 as I know tilt compensation will not work (will it?!)
My steps like this
- In config tap Instruments profile clicked
- New the instruments type GNSS Rover
- Then these option were selected
Is this a good numbers or should I change them?
Does Tils compensation work with Land Star8?
If any one have test the land star 8 with RS2 or RS3 please share you thought :)\
Waiting for your answer and thank you all
Hi @AbdUlaziz,
There can be two possible ways to use the tilt-compensated coordinates in this case. Streaming Reach’s position to Land Star 8 is required in both cases, so it should be able to receive NMEA messages.
-
If your software supports receiving our NMEA ETC message, you can obtain information about the tilt compensation in it.
-
In firmware version 32 beta, it’s possible to stream the tilt-compensated values in the NMEA GGA and GST messages. To access it, let’s update the firmware to this beta version.
I can help you configure position streaming at any time if you’d like to.
Yes, you can work with these values.
