RS3 and Esri FieldMaps

I saw an article talking about an Emlid and ESRI partnership and it was talking about the benefits of the RS3 and using it in fieldmaps.

Is that connection able to be made? or is it still just going to be the RX that can connect?

Yes, you can use the RS3

Hi @bsteiner0914,

You can use your RS3 with Field Maps on an Android phone. You can find more details about the integration here.

The guide shows the integration with the RS2+, but the process is the same for the RS3.

Currently, only the new Reach RX has MFi certification, which enables Bluetooth connections with third-party apps on iOS devices. Thus, RS3 can only be integrated with Android apps. However, on iOS, they can still be used with apps that support a TCP connection.
