RS2 with Trimble TCU3 / CU and Survey Controller Software

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone managed to hook up a Trimble CU to the RS2. I’ve got a few CUs in my cupboard with various versions of Survey Controller Software on them.
I would think in theory they should be able to control the RS2 via bluetooth but I haven’t tried it yet and was wondering if anyone has had a go at it already.

Hi Markus,

If the Trimble controller can get NMEA positions over Bluetooth, it should be possible to integrate it with Reach. As far as I know, Trimble software works only with Trimble devices, so you will need to use 3rd-party software like MicroSurvey FieldGenius.

Please note that you can configure Reach receivers via the ReachView app only.
