Hi, I purchased a new computer (Windows 11) to use in my USV and was trying to connect my RS2+ to it via Bluetooth. The computer recognises it and it connects for 2 seconds then disconnects. This same Rover connects to my old Toughbook every time via BT (Windows 10) no issues. The Device Manager in the Events Tab says “Device settings for (rover ID) were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match”. I downloaded a driver from Zadig “USB to Serial” as I was going to use a cable but decided I wanted to use BT. I have removed the drivers and tried again. Nothing seems to work. I also tried this connection on my other new PC Windows 11, same issue.
Hi Mark,
It’s been a while—good to see you back!
Could you please try these steps:
-
On your Windows PC, set Bluetooth devices discovery to Advanced instead of the default setting.
-
Make sure your Reach device is discoverable in Emlid Flow’s Bluetooth settings, and that position streaming via Bluetooth is enabled in NMEA format.
-
The Reach might only show as “paired” and not “connected” if it’s not actively streaming position data to a third-party app. Try keeping the receiver outdoors so it can calculate a solution and stream the data.
