RS2 linked to SONTEK M9 ADCP

Hi All,

Has anyone connected the Reach RS2 to the Sontek M9 Accoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP).

Client was previously using Hemisphere 321+ GNSS receiver but keen to use RS2

Any doco or help would be much appreciated

Hi Noel,

From what I see in the datasheet, Sontek M9 has an RS-232 port for GPS input. Reach RS2 can output its position via Serial using the standard NMEA format. Although we haven’t tested Reach receivers with Sontek M9, there should be no issues with the integration.
