Rover Distance to virtual Base

Hi everyone,

when I am turningon my Reach Module, I am always looking for the best place with open sky view, because the virtual Base is located for 2 minutes. After that I start moving with my Reach Module for measuring.
Now I am wondering what is the maximum distance that i should have to my at the beginning located virtual base? Or is it the better option, to locate a new virtual base from time to time during my measuring session?

Hi Lauri,

For RTK surveys with single-band devices, such as Reach Module, the highest recommended baseline is 10 km. However, virtual bases are usually much closer to your rover than that, so the setup should work fine.
