Quick Question : Is the a6000 with hotshoe feedback and ppk setup enough for precise mapping with few GCPs?

Hi,

I’ve been mapping with the sony a5100 and tried to correct he Geotags from mission planner via a custom script. Needless to say, that failed. So I was looking at other solutions and I see that the hotshoe feedback is a common element in all PPK setups ( I learned this the hard way).

So, I’m gonna change my Camera from a5100 to a6000 and add the Hotshoe cable, Is this sufficient or is there anything else that I need to add or account for?
