PX4 support

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to use emlid reach as the primary GPS in my PX4 drone. I’ve tried both NMEA and ERB outputs, but with no luck.

Would anyone be able to guide me on how to do that?
I’m seeing some recently added drivers in PX4 repo (https://github.com/PX4/GpsDrivers/pull/38/), but I’m not sure if I need any extra steps to enable emlid reach support. Should it work out of the box? What protocol should I use?

My setup:

  • Reach module (intel Edison version)
  • Holybro Pixhawk 4 Mini FC
  • stock PX4 software

As far as I know, PX4 supports NMEA input, so it should accept position from Reach. However, we don’t have any guides or tutorials about it.

How do you connect Reach to PX4?
