Hi to all,
we need to know the way to place on the ground stakes (markers) from a center, IN A STRAIGHT LINE, at distances, in meters agreed in advance; example:
2-2.5-3-4-5-6-7.5-8-10-12-12.5-15-20-25-30-40-50-60-75-80-100-120-150-200-250-300-400-500-600- 800-1000 and this using Emlid RS+ in RTK mode.
It is understood that GNSS gives measurements in XYZ. but WE are interested in neat and in a line.
You can stakeout points in a line using Reach RS+ and ReachView 3 as follows:
Create a project with points in a GIS app such as QGIS. GIS apps support lines creation and distance measurements, so you can ensure all points are placed correctly.
Export the points as CSV, Shapefile, or DXF
Import the points to the ReachView 3 app
Tap each point to stake it out
If you have an app that supports placing points in a line at specific distances from each other, you can use it instead. Reach can output its position in real-time for integration with 3rd-party apps. For Android, Iād recommend using the Mock location feature.
