PUTTING on the ground stakes (markers) at various distances

Hi to all,
we need to know the way to place on the ground stakes (markers) from a center, IN A STRAIGHT LINE, at distances, in meters agreed in advance; example:
2-2.5-3-4-5-6-7.5-8-10-12-12.5-15-20-25-30-40-50-60-75-80-100-120-150-200-250-300-400-500-600- 800-1000 and this using Emlid RS+ in RTK mode.
It is understood that GNSS gives measurements in XYZ. but WE are interested in neat and in a line.

Hi @geoetudes3d,

You can stakeout points in a line using Reach RS+ and ReachView 3 as follows:

  • Create a project with points in a GIS app such as QGIS. GIS apps support lines creation and distance measurements, so you can ensure all points are placed correctly.

  • Export the points as CSV, Shapefile, or DXF

  • Import the points to the ReachView 3 app

  • Tap each point to stake it out

If you have an app that supports placing points in a line at specific distances from each other, you can use it instead. Reach can output its position in real-time for integration with 3rd-party apps. For Android, Iā€™d recommend using the Mock location feature.
