Protecting an M2 from RF interference

Drones are basically buckets of massive electromagnetic interference lol. Does conductive copper tape help protect the M2? The other question, should it be grounded? But then there’s no real ground with a UAV’s battery… Any thoughts?

Hi Shaun,

As I know, conductive copper tape is used for shielding wires to reduce electromagnetic interference. You can also wrap Reach in aluminum foil.

Do you mean grounding Reach itself or the antenna ground plane?

Nop, not needed. Worst case, grounding it could make it act like an antenna inducing more noise into the general electrical circuit.
