NZGD2000 local projections now legacy?

Hi,

I have noticed that all NZGD2000 local projections have a legacy tag in the Flow app, but the NZGD49 local projections are not?
Should not this be the other way around as NZGD49 is from 1949.
NZGD2000 datum versions are current and well-used within New Zealand.

We definitely need
NZGD2000 NZTM
NZGD2000 WELLINGTON
NZGD2000 WANGANUI
NZGD2000 WAIRAPARA
NZGD2000 TARANAKI
…etc.

Hi Mike,

The “Legacy” tag means this coordinate system doesn’t come from our registry. Usually, we recommend choosing the ones without a “Legacy” tag because they’re in our registry and will work well with our future app versions. These six coordinate systems that you mentioned are also available without the “Legacy” tag. I recommend that you select them. You can also find them using their EPSG codes. I believe that’s the easiest way.

  • NZGD2000 NZTM: 2193
  • NZGD2000 WELLINGTON: 2113
  • NZGD2000 WANGANUI: 2111
  • NZGD2000 WAIRAPARA: 2112
  • NZGD2000 TARANAKI: 2109
