NTRIP with URL vs. IP

Hello,

I am trying to connect the Emlid Reach RS+ to an NTRIP service. I have input all the data to the service correctly, but I’m not receiving corrections. The “address” for the NTRIP service is a URL. Can Emlid Reach RS+ use a URL or does it need an IP address? I am trying to access the NYSNet NTRIP service in the New York.

Ours is a URL. domain.com

Yes, the DNS server of your network will translate it.

Hi @jrm587,

Michael and Christian are absolutely right, you can input the domain name of your NTRIP service in ReachView 3. You don’t need to enter http:// and www in the Address field. Just enter everything else that comes after.
