NTRIP client backoff?

Am using rtk2go.com as a relay.
Today my IP got banned after the base lost power.

The rover seems to keep polling for the data source without ever giving up or backing off.
That’s a no-no for this provider.
They expect a gradual/exponential back-off from clients when the caster is not available/stops providing data.

Is that reasonable and something reachview could incorporate?

Can I ask you to share your caster info and login/pass in PM so that I can try to reproduce the issue?
