NTRIP and Coordinate Systems

Hi everyone,

I don’t have much experience using NTRIP, but I will be using it for some projects in the near future. My question concerns the coordinate systems used by various NTRIP networks. Currently, the REACH RS uses only WGS84 for logging points.

However, after speaking with some NTRIP providers, local coordinate systems are in place in different parts of the world. Is this to say that the position information is transmitted via NTRIP in those various coordinate systems, and the Reach RS will not give me a real time location, will the coordinates on the Reach RS be accurate regardless of the local coordinate system, or are the local systems used for control monuments and the NTRIP data actually using WGS84?

As always, thanks for the help.
