NMEA GST Precision messages

I’m looking into the NMEA messages with my RS3 (FW. 32), In particular the GST messages and noticed that the Lat,long precision fields don’t seem to match up with the Emlid WebUI or App.

Where I captured a NMEA message of:

$GNGST,064639.00,10.000,,,,6.400,3.500,6.700*5D

Timing wasn’t exactly the same so height error changed a little.
According to trimble NMEA info Lat error is in the 6th Field and Long is 7th

I specifically got a bad fix so that the errors were not the same values.

I believe that the 6th field should show N error and the 7th should show E.
Am I missing something or getting my Lat long mixed up?

I checked, and you’re right. There’s no mix-up here. I’ve communicated this with the team, and we plan to fix the issue. Although I can’t give any ETA for now, I will get back to you with an update when it gets fixed.

Hi @ben6, we released a new firmware 32.1 Beta. We included the fix for this representation of the position precision.
