Next Testing Scenario - Reach RS as portable base station

Currently at v2.7.4

We are beginning our investigation and testing of the Reach RS as a portable base station to support mapping grade GIS data collection of assets. A second Reach RS will be used as the rover connected via LoRa.

First step is to get the base registered. I’m looking for some more information about how the averaging algorithms works.

  • When computing the points used for averaging does it use the setting on the “RTK Settings” tab? For example, for single solution averaging can I set the Elevation Mask to limit the Sats used to compute the points that are used for averaging?

  • Are there any plans to add a DGPS averaging mode to use SBAS satellites?

Yes, all settings will be applied during this computation.
