New Video Tutorial: Different Methods of Setting up the RTK Base

Hi everyone!

Today I’m glad to present to you our new video tutorial about different methods of setting up the RTK base.

When you use Reach as a local base station, you should set it up first so it can transmit the corrections to the rover. ReachView app offers several ways on how to do that. These approaches may seem not so trivial when you just get started with RTK.

That is why we have developed the guide providing a deeper explanation of methods of placing the base. This guide outlines various ways of determining base coordinates and includes tips for setting up Reach in the field.

Nice, thank you! It is also good practice to let the base collect satellites for at least 5-10 minutes before beginning your shooting session. You may obtain a fix, but if your satellite selection is degraded so will your shots be. This is not an issue when averaging a point, but if you are entering coordinates manually.
