Navio2 with qgroundcontrol’s virtual joystick

Do anyone know how to use the virtual joystick on Navio2? Can I use virtual joystick without RC receiver?

I’m afraid the QGroundControl’s virtual joystick isn’t compatible with ArduPilot. The docs say that this feature is only for PX4.
