I just got Navio2 hooked up to pi3. I also have six drone motors. I was wondering what is power limitation I can draw through servo bus?
How would you go around that limitation if you wanted to control more powerful motors? Would I need to get speed controllers?
No matter how powerful the motors are, you will always need ESCs / speedcontrollers. The only “motors” you can connect directly to the servo rail are servos. Please read carefully through docs.emlid.com/Navio2 and Copter Home — Copter documentation.
