Hi. I’m setting up my first drone. It is a s500 with four ESC and 4 motors, RPI 3, NAVIO2 and a s3 Lipo battery. Everything was going well ( I followed every instruction from the documentation on Typical setup schemes) until I connected the battery. The drone started smoking from the circuit, I suppose there is a soldering problem in the circuit. But what I am really interested in is in the state of the Navio2 pins. The Rpi and Navio2 work correctly but I’m not sure about the Navio2 pins2. Could the pins have been burned?

you will have to be a bit more precise; it sounds like there is a short circuit somewhere; but without knowing where the smoke came from and maybe a picture it is impossible to tell…
