I Completed Radio calibration and was attempting to do the ESC calibration - motors won’t start. The ESC does beep and is connected to the battery. I turned off the plane and restarted it and gave about 20-50% throttle incrementally but the motors don’t spin.

Yes, I do hear the ESC beep the number of times as my cell count (4S) but the motors won’t start.

The pixhawk has an arm method. Is there something similar I need to do to arm the motor?

Resolved this by turning off PRE-ARM-CHECKS

You need to perform some initial calibration steps.

  • Compass
  • Accelerometer
  • Battery
  • And the Radio
